"Qualifications":-

"Rape, murder, arson and rape"

"Just a minute, you said rape twice"

"I like rape"

"Hmmm, Kinky"....

A few years ago, my "new to me" Laguna threw its timing belt, 3 days after I bought it privately and almost 150 miles from home.
It was 9 pm, pouring rain and I had a car full of family and camping equipment.
I then discovered my "recovery" would only take me 10 miles or to the nearest garage.
By the time my brother had driven across and towed us back it was 3am.

I stood in the kitchen, bottle of whisky in hand and as I raised it to my open lips again my 12 year old daughter said;

"A man drink like that and don't eat, he gonna die."

It was all I could do to ask

"When?"

Classic.

Has my favourite quote from a film ever in it this one..

"Then one day I hear "Reach for it, mister." I spun around, and there I was, standing face to face with a six-year-old kid. Well, I just laid down my guns and walked away... Little bd shot me in the ass! So I limped to the nearest saloon, crawled inside a whiskey bottle, and I've been there ever since. "

Gabby Johnson: "I wash born here, an I wash raished here, and dad gum it, I am gonna die here, an no sidewindin bushwackin, hornswaglin, cracker croaker is gonna rouin me bishen cutter."

Olson Johnson: "Now how can we argue with that. I think we are all indebted to Gabby Johnson here for clearly stating what had to be said. And I'm glad the children were here today to hear that speech. Not only was it authentic frontier gibberish...but it expressed a courage that is little seen in this day and age."
