Anyone like to take a guess how much this may go for in the latest DVLA auction?

I'd say well above 20k but depends how many veyron owners are at the auction.....I imagine the DVLA will have told them all to drum up business hehe But once again with the DVLA.....the plate actually says VEY 20N, but they will advertise it as VEY20N and then it'll make more money and the police can eventually catch the owner and fine them for incorrect spacing mad

Don't reckon it'll go that high. But may get close.

My dealer friend told me that DVLA sold V37RON for about £500 at auction not long ago. The guy want mega bucks for it now and turned down 50K!! That said, the VEY20N is a better number. No doubt VEY120N will follow soon too.

Follow up on a previous post, looks like the CC has hit the speculators as this plate went for £3100 + fees! Not bad!

New auction has some crackers in there if you are a prancing horse....

(BTW I don't work for the DVLA!)

Why on earth would a VEYRON plate be sought after?

How many Veyrons are there on UK plates? And after all them, how many owners already have a brace of personalised plates?

I'd wager there's a whole lot of speculators with Veyron plates, and very few Bugattis with them on (if any).

Saying that there are a couple of Enzo's with plates such as EN20 or similar so maybe there is a niche market?

I disagree, id think that the enzo argument would apply here as well.

I watch with interest ( I have registered for another plate in that auction!)

Fair point about the Enzo plate - I can remember one - but are there really "a few" ?

Edit; sorry just realised you said a "couple", apologies to mis quote you, but my interest remains though (out of nothing more than curiosity biggrin)

In 2007 it was believed there were 12 Veyrons in the UK, so let's say 20 to be on the safe side.

IIRC shall check tho but taking this forum/exotic spotters/on the road as a reference, there is one with EN20 with black/silver plates and another using a 3NZO.

If it is otherwise, let me know!

More of a market than I'd have thought.

How many Enzos are there in the UK (roughly?!) 400 made in total, which isn't many (399 plus that white one for charity).

Agreed especially the font. IIRC the owner also had an orange mclaren F1 and was on fifth gear once with them.

Surely not as bad as having the one below..... all that cash on that piece of automotive excellence and then putting a plate on that has to be mis-spaced..... I just don't get it - there're some wonderful plates out there, but some of those cheapen the car.

I think that one is supposed to say "F60 ENZO" as the Enzo is a "spiritual" successor to the F40 and F50 hence the "F60" moniker.
