How do you replace the front indicator bulb on Mk 1?

The front indicator (drivers side) on my Mk1 Tuscan has stopped working.

Managed to get to the access in the front wing once main bonnet removed but unable to figure out how to get the bulb out in order to replace??? any ideas?? are the indicator bulbs removed from the back or front of the light unit??

any help much appreciated!!!

you can access the indicator via access pannel held on by some self tapping
screws located at front of inner wing it should be visable with the bonnet off

The back of the indicator un-screws, although the threads can get covered in mastic and that makes removal very dificult.

Agree with the above, it is a bit of a pain....you might need to disclocate your wrist Seriously though, it's tricky but you'll get there with a bit of careful fumbling (and lots of cursing)

Can anyone tell me if the front lens can be unscrewed or do I have to continue with the struggle from behind the light unit??

Oh and does anyone know somebody that has got a hand the size of a 4 year old and the strength of a cagefighter??? if so they could make a fortune changing these things lol

Haha, you're not wrong there. The back of the indicator unit is the part that should unscrew, the front lens etc is bonded in - although if you are too heavy handed you might find you have to clean that bonding out and do it again..

Try an oil filter wrench thats what my dealer did after I gave up.
