Rear spoiler advice
Discussion
Hey PH
I'm currently in the process of building a car for the Irish Time Attack series. It's an AE86 Corolla Levin. The car is almost fully prepped with some suspension work, brake upgrades, chassis work, and a few extra bhp. At the minute the car is considerably lighter than it was when new which obviously is desireable in many senses, but it has made the car slightly unbalanced as most of the weight has been removed from the rear resulting in excessive arse out dori dori dorifto tyre smoking action.
I'm looking to combat this with a bit more downforce to the rear which hopefully will sort this out. I'm looking for a spoiler which will work from roughly 50mph + and on the style of a GT wing if possible. Most searches on the internet that i've done only suggest spoilers for show and cosmetic purposes and I have yet to come across a tried and tested wing that actually creates downforce and not just drag.
Can anyone recommend anything ?
