Fixed head Tasmin/350i
Discussion
I used one in all weathers for about 5 years with no real problems.
As you know all TVRs have their little 'issues'. When it's a daily driver, make doubly sure you fix any problems properly and thoroughly, so they can't re-occur on a cold wet winter's night when you are miles from home.
Mine was a bright orange 280i FHC. I think it's still around although I've not seen it for a good while.
Bob.

How many are going round? I know there are some formiddable racing cars; are there many mint road-going examples?
PS What do you reckon their prospects are as an all-weather daily driver?
I was referring to 350 FHCs, incidentally....not many of them about.PS What do you reckon their prospects are as an all-weather daily driver?

Plenty of really nice 280i FHCs though.

Look here for more info'...http://www.tvrwedgepages.co.uk/
I have the red 350i FHC that was at the wedge festival bought earlier this year. Its a great car for our Scottish wet summers and even used it last weekend to go to our meeting in the heavy rain .So far since end of June have done over 5000 miles, but I still like my S for the not so wet days though when the roof comes down. Still cant post photo so put one in my profile ,Cheers db800

I was there in my red 390SE that time, but also had Red 280FHC chassis 10 then, but could only drive one at a time.

Although it did attract a lot of bees in the summertime!
I think I had a Blue 400SE in 2005 (when the pic was taken) but I'm pretty sure I wasn't at BBWF that year.
I don't know what it is, but I really like the Wedge coupes and I'm a bit undecided on the drop heads. It looks like I've persuaded the OH she can make do with the train, but otherwise there's a possibility I might have to swap the S3 for something a bit more secure (and dry) in order to commute 2 or 3 days a week and a Tasmin popped into my head.
