Banned from P&P

I received a 3 day ban form the P&P on the 7th January, fair enough.
But when I tried replying to a thread I was told I was banned until the 14th Jan!
I email ed a mod who told me I had been banned twice at exactly the same time, for the same offence by two different mods, doubling the length of my ban!

Shirley, this can be reduced back to 3 days?!!

Sorry for any confusion but looking at your profile you were in fact banned twice this WAS rectified and your final ban was for a 7 day period, that expires on the 14th. Until then feel free to post in any other forum.

Why was the ban extended to 7 days instead of the initial 3?

Again as far as I can see the ORIGINAL ban was for 7 Days. The second was undertaken in error.
