How much could you make from £10?

Inspired by this linky just sent to me at work.

How do PH'ers think they would get on with a tenner and 4 weeks to turn it into as much as possible?

10 quid buys lump hammer and a really, really big holdall.

Lump hammer + holdall + eccles = free ipods, laptops, hifi etc.

all the above + well known stolen goods emporeum = profit.


OR, I'd just get a job, and use the tenner to travel.

£10 buy an 1/8th chip a bit off sell for £10 repeat until you have enough chippings for another 1/8th sellthat £10 up. Double your margins but 2x 1/8ths chip a bit off each sell for £10 each...

Not adviseable though.

Buy something from a local auction sale and flog it on Ebay - My record so far - £5 to £100, £3 to £80 and £15 to £250.

Send two bigger boys to reclaim original 5 porn mags with menace.

Stock of porn 10 mags, costs to date £20, dividend £5

Repeat.

Income £50, bigger boys £10, another £10 on porn, trouser £30

You now have 15 porn mags and you're £25 up having paid back the original tenner.

A kid at a school near here buys 40 fags every day for about a tenner, sells them for 50p each or 75p if you want a light. He doesn't want to leave school because he doesn't think he will earn as much in the real world

My bro and I used to buy in bulk from a local newsagent crisps and sweets, things like that.

We'd take to school two bags - one for books, the other with our "stock". In the summer we'd sell cans of coke and such like out on the field, bag full of ice at £1 each; the vending machine was a 6 minute walk away.

After 6 months the headmaster officially asked us to cease

Made shed loads, though.

I know of a kid that does this, sells "black-market" sweets in the school playground - remember that schools have banned vending machines and only sell apples etc

Parents take him down the cash and carry every now and then, and he probably doubles his money each time
