not heard a great deal about them , but they do a power pack for the monaro VXR LS2 for £1500 fitted which is a 2 1/2" catback and a retune, chuck a K+N in there and that seems a good deal? anyone got one fitted or can comment on the likely quality?

Ideally i would have someone make a custom one and put the cutouts in so i can go from no silencers to some silencing but think that would be mega expensive.

wonder if Rapid GB would make me a custom one with cutouts welded in and a switch in the car?

sorry rambling back to the original question

Walkinshaw, as in Tom, owns HSV. Do the math.

I'm changing my 2.5" Wortec (Walkinshaw) cat back for a 3" Difilippo. It has quiet and loud settings but it's a manual job, not electric. Takes about 20 minutes to swap. I don't know how hard it would be to make it fit your R8 but I'm sure you could get it welded and set up his rolling road for an awful lot less than £1500 ? If you're interested give Mark a call and tell him Paul sent you

A. "Wortec" have nothing to do with "Walkinshaw"
B. "Racebreed1" has a 6.0ltr vxr and your system will go on his car with just new tail finishers

Sorry, I got confused by the title of the post, I assumed he meant Wortec. I also thought he had an R8 (it's been a long day)! Racebreed, even better - give me or Mark a call if you're interested.

Walkinshaw fitted my brakes - can fault them, they were really good and cost effective too.

Yep, Mark as in Rapid. He did all the work on my car and is sourcing the 3" system which will be more suited to my new set up. I'm driving about in my car at the moment running it in, when the new system arrives from OZ he'll take off the Wortec and can fit it to yours. He'll also put yours on the rolling road for a tune if you ask him nicely.

I placed my first order with them on Monday for some plastic HSV wheelcaps. They arrived safely in good condition today so I'm happy with their service up to now, although I only spent £33 or so.
