marquee sizes - help needed

wondered what size marquee or building one would need for 8 tables of 10 for a wedding, any clues?

Silly question....what sort and size of tables

i.e. 4ft or 5ft or 6ft rounds, or trestles?
What type of marquee...traditional or clearspan?

well to get to the point, what i'm actually trying to figure out is if its worth having a log canin build to host it in then use afterwards (I have the land), probably round tables, happy for 8 tables of 10 or 10 tables of 8

Might be a bit OTT for what you want (they work mostly in the events industry) but I've worked with them in the past and come recommended, based in Oxford... but work anywhere:

I work in the outside events industry and would reccomend, writing down your requirements, and getting quotes based on what you need may find some will leave out some bits compared to others give them a strict requirement to quote against.

If you went for a marquee you will need a suitable floor to accomodate high heals and drunk quests, not only that you will need heating/aircon, fancey lighting and power distributed around for DJ, Bar, catering tent lighting etc

I have experiance in the events industry so could help point you in the right direction and not to get ripped off.

60-80ft x 40ft I'd reckon.

Used to do it as a summer job, a 60footer could accommodate 10 5ft rounds and a dance floor - I think a 5ft round could seat 10 at a push and 8 comfortably. You may need a kitchen tent though on the side?
