Hello everyone,

I am looking for help in finding my missing Aunty and her car, was hoping your guys and girls could keep your eyes pealed for me.

Carol Walton aged 61 went missing from the Handsworth wood area of Birmingham on the 18th December 2008.

Carol is 5ft8, medium build with blue eyes and straight shoulder length brown hair. She was last seen wearing a dark blue/black duffle type coat and grey slacks.

The missing car is a Black Ford KA Zetez Reg; BW57 OKA

The car may still be in the Birmingham area as it has not been picked up by any of the Police networks ANPR cameras

Any information you may have would be gratefully received by the Police on 0845 113 5000

I have attached a story that was published in the Birmingham Mail today and the link to the Missing Persons website.

Many Thanks Andrew Walton

Crikey, I can hardly believe people just go missing these days... although of course I know it happens. I've just never heard it happen to anyone I've spoken with.

Anyway, both of your links fail I'm afraid. Hope you find her.

Both links work now.

Is her depression likely to have anything to do with it? Has she wandered off or threatened to do so before? Was this totally "out of the blue"?

As I said, I hope you find her.

O/T: The first paragraph of the BRMB article doesn't read very well.

Truly boggling to think someone could not be traced to the exact spot these days.
I really can't imagine how it must feel to have someone just vanish into thin air, so I would just like to say I hope she turns up in good health soon.

I'm regularly on the motorways around Birmingham and Stratford on Avon so I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Good luck with your search.

I've only just seen this thread.

I guess the police have checked Birmingham airport car park. That would be a good place to lose a car.

My friend vanished some years ago, very suddenly and unexpectedly. She left the country through the channel tunnel. Thankfully she was eventually tracked down safe and well abroad.

I can empathise fully with the terrible stress that you must be going through. I will keep you in my thoughts. May you be reunited very soon.
