08 focus zetec S (Has anyone got 1 yet)

The reason i am asking is im in an argument with my dealer, if youve read me other post ive had problems in the last few weeks ie gear box and electrical issuses which are now sorted apart from 1 thing i still have got the zetec S badges which are aparently "exclusive to the new zetec S". ive tried to buy 1 a cant so i thought fuk it ill go bak to ford and tell them to get me one, after all im owed it!!! He come out with some crap like "it dont come with badges like that" and " its not a zetec S its a zetec sport"...What a fukin nob, tell that to my log book. Has anyone got 1 with the correct badges if so please let me know, im sick of getting fobbed off and my car is only 1 month old. thanks in advance..D0G..

My Focus Zetec S is at the dealer and i'm collecting it on Thursday. I read your post a few weeks ago so asked the dealer about the badges - he said there's only the word Focus and a TDCi badge. I've told him to get the rear badge sorted, but not to worry about the "S" badge on the front fenders.

He has had to order them from the supplier direct, rather than Ford and if they don't arrive by Thursday, he'll forward them on to me to fit myself (I don't want to travel the 50 miles just to get them fitted).

Can't see why they couldn't take them off one of the 3 Fiesta Zetec S's in the showroom though!

Oh yeh i forgot to mention, when i was informed by ford that the car had arrived but couldnt collect till the nxt day, I payed them a suprise visit to see what she looked like and when i got there he said "you cant see it as its up on the lift and it would breach our health and safty to let you in".. after a little persuation he let me in. it looked great all shiny and clean, the guy let the lift down and somthing caught me eye, instead of a posh zetec S badge it said...STYLE... WTF... he said to me oh dont worry we will debadge it, this happens all the time but it will look better without any. after four weeks of asking for them he now wants evidence that it comes with this badge cuz he knows nothing of it... Im just banging my head up the wall.

There was another Zetec S in the showroom with a Style badge on - oh dear.
Anyway, the badges had arrived this morning in time for my pick-up so the dealer fitted them, all good!
I checked on the Ford website and it advertises the car with 'S' badging, so if you want them, make sure the dealer gets them!

I cant believe it, I took in a few print offs of the review about the new focus S which explained every thing about the car including "the new exclusive S badges", i also stapled to the front the 2 pics of ASTONandys focus with the badges correctly in place. Guess what...its still not enough evidence to got my badges, he said "i can do nothing with this information because its not printed from an official ford website so it not worth the paper its printed on, also he could have got them badges from anywhere. he said he will try to get them for me IF ford make them...ofcoarse they make them for god sake, this guy must be on drugs, next he will be telling me that they dont make the zetec badge anymore so i cant have 1 of them either .ARRRRGGHHH.

ASTONANDY. what branch did you get yours from mate cus i might make a fone call to them and see what they say. im sooooo pist off, astons looks so nice..i just want them for god sake.

Also - if you go on that website and select zetec s then 'configure' the digram even shows the S badges on there. They shouldn't have any problems after they've seen that.

It's basically a zetec with some bodykit and some aluminium bits inside. I went for the sport pack which adds tinted glass and different wheels. A sheep in wolfs clothing!

WOOOO HOOOO that did the trick ASTONANDY thanks, i cant believe i didnt see it there b4. The worst thing is i know that he knew about these badges but hes to fackin lazy to make a fone call untill i had him by the balls. He foned me yesterday and said "ive ordered your badges and we will have them soon,thats if they make them". OFCOARSE THEY FACKIN MAKE THEM, YOUVE JUST TOLD ME YOUVE ORDERED THEM dosey git hehe... big up pistonheads...cheers mate..D0G..

Astonandy, how are you likeing your new car, i was going for the diesel origanly but changed my mind, which engine did you choose.

Loving it so far. I went for the 1.8 diesel. I've got a 70 mile commute each day so I had to go over to the dark side. Got the badges yet?

^^^Why the 1.8 over the 1.6 just out of interest? Don't they cost about the same with just 5bhp inbetween.

The 1.8 tdci is the bottom engine choice for diesels on the zetec s so no choice in the matter, otherwise I would have looked into it as it has good mpg!
