I think this is one subject that needs to be put to bed! I cant here my Lambo-G from the outside as its moving fast.My wife is to nerveus to put her foot down, and my friends will burn out the clutch! The reason why i ask for input is,most weekend there is a wedding going on near my place of work, and on most occasions the wedding car is a Ferrari 430 spyder, man they sound awesome!(but a dog to look at! I have two pet dogs, they are gerogious) In comparison which sounds better?

I have a gallardo spyder at present with a tubi on and I cant think of much that sounds as good as it, possibly a carrera GT with a Tubi.

I also have a GT2 with a tubi which sounds great but pale in comparison.

My car

We also have a CSL which sounds immense but also no where near the Gallardo.

Often hear 430's in and around London but they do not sound as good, not heard one with a tubi however.

My vote for a Lambo Gallardo.

My gallardo has a tubi and it's the noise it makes on the initial cold startup.Like an adult lion on the vinegar stroke during mating season!!lol

Has anyone had the oppertunity to stand next to both cars and listend to them,I dont mean louder I mean clear crisp note! I also know that one is a V10 and the other a V8 and will sound different, but which is the best sound?

different revs, different throttle openings, different environments, different temperatures, totally, incomparably, different sounds from both cars

through scudrunners.net, i've had the pleasure of running with some of the best, and the gallardo and 430 are imho both right up there

!!!be careful!! ... you'll break your computer's speakers when you crank them up to compare exhaust noises... especially beware some of the rougher sounding ones with dodgy exhausts, enjoy the one's with in-car track stuff, or just buy a good Tubi for your Gallardo, should endear you to the neighbours - for miles around!

you can't really compare them by Listening to them on the pc, but when your hear them in person, they sound totaly different.

Murci with Kreissieg F1 sounds incredible...

Gallardo with same system...

Best engine sound I've ever heard is from the CGT though... closest to an F1 car I've heard and unbelievably responsive to blipping of the throttle.
