Not all her fault, but yeah, she should take a lot of the blame. There's being fat then there is being hardly recogniseable as a human being!!

I'd go as far as branding that as a form of child abuse...Wrong beyond belief. Letting that happen to her son just beggars belief.

bks. He may have been fat before he realised that being fat was not healthy and right... so he still could have improved his health off his own back. You can't blame the mother 100%. He is his own person. He has/had the freedom to help himself.

What a ridiculous weight for a human being which is supposed to be a land mammal.

They probably remortgaged to afford his 8,000 calories a day. Blame the morbidly obese for the credit crunch.

I find these kind of programmes incredibly sad, I've put on a bit of chubb lately, but can you imagine needing to loose 40+ stones!

Yes they have really fked up, but bloody hell what an awful place to be, not even able to wipe your arse or cut your toenails or seeing your kid laid there unable to do anything for themselves knowing its 80% your blame! It actually really upsets me frown

Teenager/half a ton/sits at home while 'mom' goes shopping for crisps, burgers, coke... the more calories and the fattier the better.... and stops off at Maccy D's on the way home for a few burgers as a quick snack whilst she prepares dinner to feed the 5,000.

They do say the camera adds a few pounds... in this instance the camera loses a few dozen stone.

He'll be dead soon. And the tragedy will be that his mother will realise, many years too late, that she has some culpability in it.

ETA: Blimey. Lost half his weight. Only 30 stone now.

He'll still die young. His heart will be facked.
