Mum had to fit some Avons to her E39 528 a few months ago due to availability problems. They have been awful and need replacing. Any suggestions?

What's wrong with them, how much does she want to spend on new tyres and how is the car driven?

Personal taste but I had Vredestein Ultracs on my M3,535 and 328 and they were great.

I'm happy with the Continentals.

About £110 a corner fully fitted and torque wrenched on.

You could try the Pirellis if you want something a
bit stickier, which won't last as long.

Thanks chaps. I recommending the Falkens 452's on to Mum. 4 fitted for 300 quid on black circles.

I've got Falken ZE912 on mine, usually about a tenner less than 452s, perfectly fine for day to day motoring.

Cheers,
Rob
