How old is the child. My two year old has no problem in the seat with an adjuster on the seat belt.

He's about 14 months old (the child, not my Brother-in-Law).

Ours is 2 years just, the car came with the TVR seat but shes a bit to small for it and could easly wrrigle out so had to get the Britax Freeway. Boot is the best place for them as our managed to be sick right dowen the back of the passenger seat the other day.

Just buy a child seat from Halfords ! I think £80 gets one that fits. I paid £200 for the sexier one.

Our TVR seat is fine for our 8-month-old, as long as the safety cushion thing is in place in front of him. He loves it! Though if you can't get a good second-hand seat, TVR do a new Recaro seat for £300 (!!), or the Britax Freeway fits.

Yes (to the latter!!)

I have one and it fits in fine and my 2 year old loves it! £80 or so from Mothercare...
