Does anyone know what crosses over for the ball joints (both) on an '89? As in, oh, Moog part number ... or same as a 198X whatever?

No idea about the lower. I don't have a part number for the upper, but it is a direct replacement for a Triumph Spitfire.

Cheers,

Thanks, Sanj. I suspect my upper may be a bit loose. I'll check it out when I pull the wheels for my new tires in a couple days. Yoko AVS 195/60/15's, $155 for two shipped from TireRack.

FYI (you probably know this already): MSRP from LCU is $87.22 for each lower balljoint. At least it was around this time last year.

I'd love to hear what you find.

If I can buy them from my local auto parts store, O'Reilley's, I can get a life time warranty. It looks like these ball joints are a high maintenance item.

I really like LT Warranties. Brought my 22R water pump back in after only 115K miles and got me another one free. Told them that's what they get for giving LT warranties on Toyota Truck parts.
