Anyway if you lost it clothes would have to be optional

How about this?

Item number 280221571793
I'm told that it fits but have never seen one in the flesh so to speak.
Cheers

There was a thread on this subject some time last year - might be worth a search....
I take my S on a euro road trip once a year and have never had an issue with the space, even when ladden with tents, sleeping bags etc for camping at Le Mans. Secret is to pack lots of small bags that can go behind and on top of the roof in the boot. Rear shelf and passenger footwells can also take a lot of stuff!
If you must have something on the boot I'd want it to be properly secured. I'm sure the thread I mentioned above had a post from someone who had a 2nd boot lid with a rack bolted to it (might need some plates on the inside to spread the load from the bolts).
Longers
edited to add that a repsrayed 2nd bootlid will still be a lot less than a Chimaera!!

( Norm's wheely bin was the best suggestion!)
Actually the advanced search is quite good on this site
I put in "luggage" and chose "TVR S series" as the forum and found it straight away.
Cheers

Anybody got one on there boot? Just an idea to prevent me getting a Chimaera on teh basis on more bootspace, why not just tie it to a rack on the back and it'll look classic too! Any suggestions? Thanks in advance
other (and serious this time) suggestion is to leave the spare wheel at home and just carry a compressor and sealant. Would be OK for most punctures and would give you loads of space. If you decide to add anything to your bootlid (or a spare as Longers suggests - and I thought of a second lid with a motorbike type top box for long hauls) then you need a manual boot release and make sure your hinges and catch are up to the job.
if you do decide to go that way I would be interested in the look...

I believe tvr car parts had some chrome boot-racks that were fitted by the factory as an extra ( as mine was). They are bolted through the lid and are quite sturdy, the weak point is the boot catch.I tend to fasten the spare wheel on mine when touring, with a cover on so it looks tidy. If i can figure out how to post photo's, i'll find a piccy.
