Brought on by the recent recruitment agents are lower than estate agent type thread I thought it would be interesting to see what the PH collective feel is the most despicable job ever, over to you my fellow PH'ers...

Keeping is car related it has to be traffic wardens, although they do keep my road free of non permit holders, so might have to go for estate agents

I thought this was going to be a little different, I was going to answer any job that requires more 20 hours of my time.
But it is other people smile
Those tele sales people got my vote.

I voted all. On PH I've been taught to hate everyone bar Mrs Thatcher.

Surely this isn't a fair vote, as traffic warden is ticked by default? biggrin

I would love to, I really, really would but unfortunately you only get so many answer fields and everyone has voted many times on all current fields!

Have you seen people's parking? Imagine no traffic wardens, would you be able to move? Driving would turn into gang warfare!

However the current stereotypical warden should be shot.

Bit harsh some of those surely? Helpdesk Operator? They can be helpful, some bad experiences have led to an unfair generalisation there. Maybe more appropriate would be to despise the management penny pinching greedy types that sent all the helpdesk work to India...

Sticking up for them as I used to work on a helpdesk & work in a diffrent role now where I liase with them every day & find they are not all bad.
