I have been lumbered with the job of replaceing the diesel timing belt on a 1993 2.0 nissan serena
due to the tensioner falling to bits Lol

now on the serena the diesel pump is driven by a timing belt from the rear of the cam driving the diesel pump only
my snag is autodata doesnt show this pump belt so I have no clues on what I am looking for timing mark wise
anyone know what I should be seeing mark wise when I get to it tomorow afternoon ?

If the belt's still in one piece just use white paint to mark the relative positions of the pullies- it's what I did for years before I got my first workshop manual.

sorted now

unfortunatly the serena has timing marks on the belt to line with the dots on the pulleys and there were no lines on the replacement belt
but luckily someone had been there before with tippex so after a bit of hunting for the marks they used I sorted it

it turns out due to being an import autodata doesnt cover it Lol but the primera diesel is the same
