Age old question, but could some people let me know names of keen companies? I'm 25 and have a DR10 other than that I'm clean.

Thanks a lot!!!

With a DR10 it's a bit of a lottery as too who will give you a deal as you probably know.

Not much help but I would ring every company

This is worth a try

"Just a note to say that the White Elephant Team has negotiated up to 10% discount with Elephant sponsor Footman James on all TVR, Classic Car & Classic Bike insurance.

For a competitive quotation just call 0844 826 8949 & quote ref: "TVR White Elephant" to get your discount."

Thanks for that...

I've had two quote, one from Sabre and one from that number above, both are £1500 3rd party.

Does anyone else have any ideas?

Thanks

If its a second car try Hagerty. I've found them so much cheaper than everyone else and there customer service is second to none.

Was with Tesco - A-Plan halved that at £609. I'm 34 with 3 points and limited mileage of <5000.

Seems quite a lot - my T350t cost me £470 for 10k pa, full NCB with 1 fault claim and garaged at 33 years old. Though I did have to haggle hard for it.

I've found that today most companies offer lower premiums to get you then raise them in subsequent years. I was with CIS for years and they were always cheaper than everyone else. Even had a Ferrari with them at a good rate as I'd been a long-term customer even though they didn't usually insure them.

This changed when they 'reorganised' though. Right now I have both the Sag and Griff with Privilege. They were cheaper for me than the specialists mentioned here, CIS, SwiftCover and Direct Line, all of whom I've used in the past.

It's a pain to do every year, but seems to be the only way to keep premiums down.
