I was rather impressed with the shot. I took it on the last run of the day at a ski resort called Stuhleck (Spital am Semmering) in Austria. It was so cold when I took it, the lens froze on the camera so when I turned it off, it wouldn't retract!!!

-28C with gale force winds is also pretty uncomfortable when you take your gloves off.....

Cheers so far! smile

I would have loved to take my 40D but perhaps it wouldn't have been the smartest idea!!! wink

The other problem came when I realised I'd taken the photograph in "clipboard mode". I guess it's an easy mistake to make when you can't feel your hands and your snot is freezing inside your nose. (Sorry for the graphic description....hehe).

As a result, the picture only came out in 2MP which is a shame considering the camera is worthy of a lot more and it would have been a smashing picture to print.

I have to be honest, that is my biggest gripe about the FX-35. WTF is a "clipboard" mode for anyway!? grumpy

wow, what a result. great picture, looks cool on 2MP.

biggrin

It would haunt me a bit, that I had not also by chance had it on IA setting with 10MP, but would may not have the same magic as this shot.

Welldone.

Great photo. Don't carry my camera when I ski.... I fall too much!
