I did.

Here it is:

A DVD of the 1978 Bathurst 1000. More accurately, its the tape of the race review (complete with comedy old school commentary and spots of poor tracking), with sections of commentary from Allan Moffat, John Shepherd and John Harvey, with a very interesting walkaround of the Race winning 05 A9X.

Result.

Have to admit to being a tiny bit excited by the XC Cobras aswell - sorry

Not sure, '78 was the year I was born so my memory is a bit hazy on that one. There was no mention of any cricket though...

Oh but what I would give to hear ol' Mike Raymond and Gary Wilkinson again.

Interesting.

The souvenier ones that look like Boomerangs dont actually return or usually even fly. the ones that fly and return (generally used only for practice or sport by the aborigines), dont look typical of a boomerang and therefore dont sell in souvenir shops (all made in china and sold in shops owned by vietnemese).

hehe
