Resident Evil Demo - Jan 26th.... Xbox

Resident Evil 5 Demo to Premiere Exclusively on Xbox 360

Capcom just sent word out that the demo that Japan saw before Christmas for Resident Evil 5, will premiere exclusively on the 360 Marketplace in the West, beginning January 26th.

The three level demo, set across two stages - Assembly Place and Shanty Town - is said to support co-op with the AI, split-screen and over Xbox Live, so everyone can sample Resident Evil 5 the way they want.

This announcement also means that the week commencing January 26th will be a fine week indeed for gamers with Fallout 3 DLC and Mirror's Edge DLC set to drop as well. Great start to 2009 if I do say so myself.

Played the Jap demo, even did coop with a friend.After playing various other games, the biggest let down was the fact you still can't move and shoot.Even as resi fans over the years, we both said we probably wouldn't bother with this.Looks pretty though.

You didn't like RE4?

you can download and burn to disc the jap resi 5 demo (as they have had it a while) no modified console required as long as you unplug from live.

And prefectly legal
