On my way to work, just as I get to Oldham I pass a couple of garages, small independents, that usually have a nice selection of interesting cars. I had to do a double take this morning... there was a pair of silver or ice blue Tuscans right on the front of the forecourt, absolutely identical.

Unusual to start with, but then I noticed they both had their backsides lifted to give a more dramatic display pose, then I realised why... this garage has had Porsches, Jaguars, Mercedes, even a Ferrari once I seem to recall, all left happily on the forecourt over night... never before have I known the owner to remove both back wheels and carefully place the cars on axle stands!

(no, if they'd bin nicked they'd be on bricks!)

Proving yet again, that the TVR is obviously considered far more desirable/nickable than the rest of the Euro exotica

(ok, he might do the same with an F40 granted )

I pass through Oldham quite regularly, which dealer are we talking about?......I'll go and have a look tomorrow and take a few snaps.

Speaking of rare sights, I saw a beautiful Cascade(?)Green Tuscan(W* C*N) on Broadway this morning, anyone here?

Scooby - just before you get to Mumps roundabout from Huddersfield (A62), just above the Fiat dealership, Townend Motors, opposite Silverstone Motors.

He may put wheels on during day?

You serious???

They nicked the wheels and went to the trouble of leaving 'em on axle stands?

Oh well, they looked impressive from the front anyway

Nah, I like my 16s on the back and 15s on the front...

Must say, 406 Coupes look really quite fetching with 18s though

They're still there this morning though, obviously not been taken out for any test drives
