Is it me, or are the news reporters and journalists a bunch of miserable gits who are getting more and more arrogant as the months plough on? They know they have a job, but they don't half seem arrogant while everyone around them loses theirs...

Although I have no time whatsoever for the lying scum of Labour, in this case there was nothing wrong with what the woman said. Its media in general isn't it - one minute doom and gloom, next minute how someone "said" two words together and how in-sensitive that is - then we flick to how one individual potentially gets x amount of money, with no hint of irony.

It depends on the nature of the jobs. If 10,000 skilled engineering jobs are replaced with 10,000 minimum wage shelf-stacking jobs it's a net loss I think.Imagine the media storm if 10,000 jobs were cut somewhere.

So its a bit of a false economy to make any comparisons at all. 10,000 jobs lost in engineering are not going to get replaced quickly at all. 30,000 jobs lost in retail will see a fair percentage in other companies, but there is still a net negative loss.

Yea gets the thumbs up from me as well. Fed up of the doom mongers on here. I know it's wishfull thinking but the sooner people try and get positive the better. Like it or not we will get through all this crap.
