Drama-documentary about derivatives trading crisis ?

a long shot but trying to locate the name of this


it was on many years ago.. it was very well made and was a fictitious tale of how one mans derivatives activity brought about the collapse of world banking. It had edited clips of Clinton and Blair in it giving press conferences to make it lifelike. It was presented as something that could quite easily happen. (Funny how what actually happened last year was way way worse !)

can anyone remember the name or anything ? I would love to track it down and watch it again ?

Not so ficitious I think - it was based on Nick Leeson, the original 'rogue trader' who brought down Barings Bank.

no not rogue trader

it was more of a quality uk gritty drama

the responsible trader didnt really star in it, he was reported missing at teh beginnig of the film in some sort of news item and then I think it trasnpires that he later commits suicide

Traders or something, with Rebecca wots-her-name in Risky Business. I recall some dude who flies in to work on a boat-plane, as you do .. oops, sorry got the wrong decade.
