I've got a 2005 Trek 1500 and have plans to join my local cycling club and probably do a few TTs over the TT season. I have a basic set of add-on aero bars, is it possible to buy a seat post that will bring my position a bit further forward for the aero position? I know cervelo do them on their road bikes but they're aero frames IIRC with special seat posts. I know it's not an ideal fix, but being a student I'd quite like a cheap-ish fix just to see what it's like because it'll be my first taste of TTing. Any other advice welcome.

Thanks in advance, Arry.

I'm pretty sure you can just turn your seatpost 180 to bring the saddle position forward.

You can buy a seatpost with a forward-facing bend in it. Example here:

Bear in mind that you will have proportionally a lot of weight over the front compared to a tri frame, so handling could be a bit alarming.
