Record breaking Cold
Discussion
There is extended record-breaking cold in large portions of the U.S. Some ski resorts have closed for the day because of dangerous temperatures. In many places it is colder than it has been in 20 years. Minnesota is currently wind chilling at minus 65 degrees F.
Thank goodness the globe is warming; think how cold it would be if it wasn't.

You're way behind the times in the colonies aren't you?
The envirofascists have pre-empted your post by changing from 'global warming' to 'climate change' precisely to avoid such comments. However, climate change was deemed to be insufficiently scary and has now been changed to 'climate chaos'.
Do try to keep up with the latest contemporaneous enviro-lentilist nomenclature old chap.

Understood; I will be outside standing on broken glass and flogging myself with a rusty chain....and chanting; there must be chanting. I can vouch for this chilly weather, it's only been warmer than -20c twice since early December here, this morning at 8am the temp was -36c and with the windchill was -51c which even for Manitoba is cold - coincidentally yesterday at the north pole it was -15c
Apparently by the weekend it will be -2c so t shirt and shorts all round!

Will be about -23 in Toronto, windchill -29 tomorrow. Its bone chilling. Getting in the car is like sitting on a board, and the short walk to the gym at 630 AM from the parking lot is excruciating.
At that temperature, your short walk would be a faster run if it were me.

Well it's 28 deg C here in Hua Hin, but it a little more windy than normal
That's great for you, it was tropical enough the last time I was there. But...13 January 2009 a severe cold snap in Thailand prompted authorities on Tuesday to declare an emergency zone across more than half of the country covering 42 of 76 provinces
