Surprised there is anyone stupid enough to fall for this anymore. My mother is in her 60's and wouldn't fall for it

Don't confuse age with intelligence - plenty of older peeps who are a damn site smarter than younger people I know.
These scams always revolve around greed - people think they can get rich by doing practically nothing and so they'll ignore their common sense and run with it. Somebody at my last job was almost got by one of these, fortunately it was flagged up on the mail server and I set them straight that it was a well known scam.

Absolutely no sympathy from me.
If anything, those nigerians did him and us favour as that kind of money in the hands of someone that stupid is just plain dangerous
Hate those bloody scammers with a passion......but they are just so ridiculous, it makes you wonder how could there be anyone stupid enough to fall for it!

What an idiot.
I agree. But how did the fool meet his £130k in the first place? What an idiot.
See people like this all the time, with lottery scratch cards, and by slot machines in pubs.
Put in a pound, loose it, put in some more, loose that. And they keep doing it, even when there's no chance or recouping their losses!
Buy a scratch card, lose money, buy more, win £5, buy 5 more scratch cards, loose on all, but some more...
