MG to Return to US?

MG's return to the US - just what is the score?

Just thinking aloud here. Is the arrival of the Elise in the US in any way linked with the possibility that Rover MG preparing it's alloy 4 bolt for the MGTF to come to our shores as well? ....mmmm

Ted, you said "Can't see it somehow".

However, next to most American cooking small saloons and hatches, the Rov^H^H^H MGs (25s and all) are going to be a cut above, I reckon.

Even the ZT 190 would not cut it here. Put on the slush box for the "near luxury" {$30,000 +} segement requirements and it would be short on power...especially torque. But the V8 will be a glove fit. The rest you can forget...they will destroy the US image of what MG is.
