Nurburgring 24hr Race Advice Needed
Discussion
I'm planning to go to the NBR24 this year instead of Le Mans (Been going to LM since 97, so fancied a change).
So being new to all the NBR stuff, I have some questions for those that have been before.
1) Do I have to pre-book tickets or are they available around the circuit like Le Mans during the days leading up to the race?
2) We've always camped at Le Mans (In a municipal camp site, so it was reasonably civicised with a toilet and shower block available), is similar camping available at the NBR? (Mullenbach seems to be recommended)
That's all for the moment, but if anyone has any other general advice I'd be very grateful to read it.

Tickets are available at booths next to the main entrance, €52 last year for the weekend I think, and that gets you into the paddock.
There is loads of camping, but most of it is just fields with a shower/toilet trailer, some of it is in the woods right next to the circuit for those who don't fancy any sleep. We camped at Mullenbach which is a 15minute walk to the circuit, 20-25min walk to Nurburg and has slightly old, but good, clean facilities and a shop. That should set you back about €35 per head if you get there on the Friday; be careful as we were had last year and ended up paying €48 each.
We'll be there again this year camping at Mullenbach, so might see you there (either blue Audi A4 or red Zafira)
