Hi there! just realised all the sound system(multi media system)aswell as the buttons and display are the same as an Audi A4/Q7 and so is the key and we had the privlage of paying ad damn site more!Oh this is pretty much same as a Bentley GT but they have a nicer key,why have paid for a Lambo yet Lambo seem to use all Audi parts?

I'm guessing you didn't do your homework Rocco!?

I'm quite pleased they used some of the Audi stuff. At least it works!

When you compare the Audio/Nav in the Gallardo with say the F430 you'll realise why using the Audi is such a good idea

I do understand that Audi parts work fine but i didnt pay for a Audi. So When when we have to buy a part for a Lamborghini, yet the part is stamped Vw/Audi what do you think the price will be, Vw/Audi or Lamborghini? I bet it wont be Vw/Audi when being serviced @ Lamborghini!

You did look at the car before you bought it, didn't you?

Look, I've got a Porsche you can have a straight swap. Can't say fairer can I?

did you buy it for the key and buttons, or for the design the looks, the engine, and be honest, the name?

Rocco1 for goodness sake just get in and drive it mister!

As for the interior

A) You shouldn't need the sat nav, just go where your spirit takes you smile(nice mixture of A & B roads with the odd tunnel)

B) You shouldn't need the stereo, just wind the window down smile ( dare I even mention you can drop the rear window down on spyders lol! wink )

C) You shouldn't be looking at the interior if you are doing A properly biggrin

900 miles in 12 months indeed eh bah gum

At least it's better than having an AstonMartin and noticing all the Volvo logos

just to clarify, i wasn't complaining at all
the economic reality is that the vw/audi bits will have have 100x the r&d plus testing invested

Like someone has already said, all the bits that matter are Lambo - the bits that need function over style are audi, it's the same with all cars. I imagine a lot of the stuff on a Rolls Royce Drophead Coupe (list of £300k+) are BMW - the idrive for one...! Just get in and drive, or give it to me and I'll get in and drive biggrin Besides, all of my '97 VW Polo are VW group parts so what's the difference? hehe

Rocco, with all due respect, you've come on a forum with a car numberous people on here would love to own, and all you've done in the last 5 days is post about how rubbish it is, how everything is going wrong, how the switch gear is rubbish, how your old 996 turbo was better, how your old 996 turbo had a better stereo etc etc. Surely you looked at the car and spent a while researching it before buying? You should have known exactly what you were buying at the time. It's not a hidden secret that Lambo uses VW parts, in the same way that Rolls Royce use BMW parts and Aston Martin use Volvo parts. If you spent a bit more time driving it than you do complaining about it, I imagine you'd be a very happy person!!

So the fact that certianly the F360 (and probably the F430 but I haven't had one of those so I can't be certian) has loads of Fiat bit including stalks from a Fiat Stilo would bother you?
Or that a Bentley Conti shares it's entire electrical system with VW Phaeton?

Cancel that order for the Rolls Phantom, it shares it's entire electrical system with a just to be BMW replaced 7 series.

Given that no low volume manufacturer like, Aston/ Bentley/ Ferrari / Lamborghini can afford to properly develop it's own nav/ infotainment system, I honestly can't think of any parts bit I would rather they pick from than Audi!

Totaly differnt proposition, you can't compare them, Porsche can afford to as they are a mass produced volume manufacturer making more than 100,000 cars a year!

What a knob. The last thing I worried about when I bought my Lambo was who made the ignition key.

I think plenty of people have accepted it judging by the replies, it only seems to upset you.
