Helpful tip so you dont get stranded........

I recently had the misfortune of my Sagaris alarm key fob batteries running out. Luckily they died with the doors unlocked, otherwise I would not have been able to get in. Also glad I had the manual immobiliser key on the keyring, otherwise I would not have been able to start it.

I recommend you carry 2 x Panasonic CR1220 3V batteries (12mm in diameter) in your car glove box (it takes 2 batteries). If you ant to be really an@l you could also keep two in your wallet in case the batteries go with the door lock. It would be a pain to be stranded by 2 little batteries, and they seem to be hard to get hold of from garages.

They key is easy to open - just gently prise it open with a small flat bladed screw driver.

PS does anyone know if the key fob does fail with the doors locked if there is any other way to open the doors? Obv dont post it here - just email me. I could get into the boot or the doors of My old Chimaera using 2 tricks - does the Sag have a similar method?
