Well here goes. I've run a cable from the router to the xbox, and its now merrily downloading some update or other... so we'll see what all this xbox live fuss is about..


either that or I'll shortly have a bricked xbox !!!

I've joined fairly recently, even though I've had my 360 since october and had an old xbox for years before that. I've only being playing PGR 3 online as my forza 2 disc is shagged, it's fun but there seems to be a large number of scottish people online, which is fine except I can't understand them, and even more Americans.

I've only got FOrza 2 and GTA4 I've also got halo3 somewhere but cant find it...although I only tried it briefly and wasnt that impressed...

What was the demo, 3 or 4 maps ?

Full game has 13 maps, full single player and zombie.

To say COD4 is better on the back of a demo you only played for a few hours and that represented such small a percentage of the full game is a little bit harsh don't you think ??

Try the full game, play it for as long as you have played COD4, get on there and play it with your mates etc...........and then make your assumptions, sorry, I mean conclusions

I'm not interested in the single player though, I've played countless WW2 era games and don't really fancy another one at the moment.

The multiplayer was released a couple of weeks before the game came out so I doubt they've changed anything on it. I just didn't like the way it played. The maps aren't thought out very well and are too big for my liking.

A couple of the maps in the demo were large as they are a couple of the main ones for the 'war' game type, which is a 9-a-side affair, hence they are large (although when 18 people are in them, they suddenly don't seem so big). There are smaller ones in the full game.

It was a slow starter and it took me a while to get into it, but into it I got none the less. Given a chance, it gets better.

Yeah fair enough, its just not something that I'm going to warrant paying £40 for when I didn't like the guns or things like that.
