Does anyone remember this game ?

Just got it out from the loft and forgot how ahead of its time it was.
Bloody Brilliant game !

Shame Dream Cast was let down by crap titles overall as its a good piece of kit.

Does anyone else still use theirs ?

Great game, the Dreamcast will always be one of my favourite consoles. Piracy played a big part in it's downfall, you could download ISO's of the net and run them on an unmodified console, apparently.

Yeah I felt as a customer the machine was awsome at the time but a lot of the games were not up to the standard of the DC.

Getting the DC out tonight has put a smile on the entire Family.
SM is on tonight and what a great story, game, idea etc....

Still Games are cheap and they are good fun.

Anyone Remember Crazy Taxi ? LOVE IT !

ETA That I Feel SM is up there with Res Evil 1 & 2 as my Fav Games of all time oh and dont Forget ....
Jet Set Willy ! Attic Attack and Jet Pack !

The acting/script was terrible though, laughably bad.

'Hello, I'm looking for some sailors.'

Any fans of Shenmue could do a lot worse than look at the Yakuza series of games, from the same minds that created Shenmue, just as much to see and do, and a lot better game with it.

I think I've still got Shenmue along with 1/2 classic DC games... DC is somewhere stored in original packaging.. Waiting
until I get the "boys" room sorted out.. smile

Atic Atac! First proper game I had on the Spectrum was Horace and the Spiders!!

For those who haven't found it, and are interested in Retro consoles, pick up Retro Gamer magazine - I've got it on subscription
and it's great. Loads of in depth interviews, lots of background information about the scene back in the day. It covers all older
platforms (consoles, computers and arcade). The articles are really well written and very engaging.

It doesn't work because the light guns (well, traditional ones) sense the electron scanning across the screen on a CRT (or some such). I did read that a company is trying to make an adapter that enables a light gun to be used on LCD and Plasma TV's. I guess it put some sort of Wii-style IR transmitters on the TV or something, I don't know.

My missus was so into it, she used to nip back from work at lunchtime to get a session in. She even got me to get a boot loader and a US copy of Shenmue 2. If they were to make 3 for the 360 she'd be like a pig in st.

Love ma dreamcast..Played Shenmue 1 all the way thru. Have still to play the 2nd version. I'm after some rare shooters. If anybody knows of a good website for the ISO's without Viruses let me know..

O'h and I still have a good collection of original titles. As said previously the machine was way ahead of it's time..
