I know i know, it's quite a subtle change, but the rears have gone from 8" to 8.5" and the spoke design makes the wheels slightly lighter and noticeably easier to keep clean.
And they're genuine BMW wheels, which is helpful.
Oh yeah, and you can see more of the big brakes too biggrin

Thoughts?

Well having just achieved 17.2mpg on a mini hoon with Pete, I can add they do actually look better in real life than they do in that pic.

From what I understand (I'm sure Pete will come along and give his proper opinion), is that the BMW is perfect for most things he does - it can take his dogs in the back, and he also rates it very highly for hooning (he had it at the same time as his 993 Carrera and used the 130i much more).

I believe the Chim is a fair weather toy, especially for tunnel running.

yes

I still grin like a loon every time i drive the 130, whether it's to and from work or coming home from Oakley Hall in the pissing rain and gale force winds on a night like this biggrin

The Chim is a sunny day cruiser and a tunnel run toy.
