Unisex toilets
Discussion
After reading another toilet thread. It reminded me of my 1st experience of a Unisex toilet in Paris at Christmas. Needed to go number 1 so popped into a small shopping arcade. Gave the nice lady 2 euros then went round the corner only to see 4 urinals and 4 cubicles. Not that strange until you find yourself doing your business and several women come out of the cubicles and proceed to wash their hands next to you and not think twice about you standing there. Anyone else used one of these? And do you think they will be introduced over here?
Also anyone know if the urinal in Piccadilly circus thats on the pavement is still there? That was weird too.

doubtful I'd be able to go with women stood there, washing their hands, listening, probably wanting a sneaky at the ol' trouser snake.....
no. don't agree with unisex toilets.
you should be forced to endure the opposite sexes' toilet habits *only* if you're living with that person.
Otherwise, find somewhere else.
dirty bleeding europeans!

Those outdoor urinals are a bit weird though, used one at a festival in Holland with 100's of people passing just behind you.
Saw those in Aberdeen... Very odd.I've been to a few clubs with unisex toilets. doesn't really bother me.

Its been ages since I was there but they would drop of loads of them on a friday afternoon around the city centre (amsterdam) off the back of a truck and pick them all up again on Sunday.Seems a good solution to stop people peeing in doorways!
There used to be one in Reading that popped up out of the ground (near the town hall) on a friday/saturday night.
Never had a problem if the desire to pee was great enough!

Saw those in Aberdeen... Very odd.been to a few toilets on camp sites, 1 bog for the blokes and 6 urinals as if blokes not need a dump after a night to the beer tent and dodgy burgers, me and a few other blokes went into the empty ladies and then all of a sudden the other cubicles fills up with the girls who proceed to take the piss out of one of the guy's performances last night. Other guys start laughing, girls shocked and then it dawns on them that the guy is next to them
I did try the portaloo on the way, but some nice people had left a pile several inches higher than the seat level and decided was not good to use

So if you spend a weekend at someone else's, do you insist that their house has 2 toilets and each sex uses their own?I've never seen any outdoor urinals. I'm guessing Manchester doesn't have them.
Quite a few bars and clubs have mixed toilets though.
