Membership of the S&DCC, who run the Curborough Sprint Course is open now for the year.
See: http://www.curborough.co.uk/sdccmship.htm
It gets you and a guest into all public meetings free and is cheap. Myself and some other PHers are members and it's a great venue - small and friendly and (normally) easy to park. There some really good events on:

NOTE: this is an expression of enthusiasm - not an advert - I just want some more of the Midlands PHers to go so I can meet them!

Membership pending as the entry list for Loton Park gets less interesting year by year.
Anyway. I still owe Prof a tenner......

We (members of the 106 Rallye Register) held a trackday there last year, just before it closed for winter, it was a great day (my first trackday) and everyone had a cracking time. We're hoping to organise a few more so I could let you guys know if you fancy popping down, or even coming on track, it was only about £30 each for a 9-5 open pit lane. Great little circuit
