Tried to get some short hose(35mm i/d) for top/bottom of otter switch pipe but was quoted £16 per metre length, only needed 2x100mm lengths. Found these silicone ones on ebay for £15 delivered, they will do bottom of radiator angle to link pipe then bend up to water pump(cut a bit of each end and a bit of jiggery pokery), and enough to do the 2 short ones as well. If anybody needed them, he has them in red, blue and black.

Thanks for the post! I just bought some too. Went for black as I don't want to have to keep swapping all the rest for red!
Is it just me or does anyone else find hammeriting the chassis a real pain and wish they'd never started! I think TVR git has a lot to answer for, although the photo's of the finished item do keep spurring me on- not long to April.

Nice one Ian and well done for the award you got for the "M" I read in Sprint... you kept that quiet (or did I miss it ?)

Congratulations anyway...

Hope you found something useful in the bag of shrapnel hehe

Pleased someone else needed hoses he said he had about 20 sets. Painting the chassis IS a pain, worst is getting underseal and waxoil off first.
Thanks for that kevin, oh and the bag of bits, might find a use for some of it maybe ????, have to return the favour someday, sure i've got a bag in the garage somewhere wink. cheers for the coffee and chat, got me motivated again, radiators back on fan, rocker covers, still a bit to go though.

Thanks for posting this Ian. Engine is still out of the car, so I might as well change the hoses at the same time. now all she needs are the two smaller hosese on/behind the waterpump. These seem ford parts, but as the local ford dealer couldn't source any exhaust manifold gaskets, I doubt if they can find me hoses.
