I just bought a monaro vxr 6.0l supercharged does anyone else have problems with there gauges when i start it in the morning it reads a small amount of temp straight away, the petrol gauge when filled to the top stays at the top for ages then drops to halfway there is no in between, help . Also when sitting in traffic for a while the engine check light comes on, the guy that sold it says it is something to do with the exhaust system (o2 sensors)does that sound right ?

Code sounds right. Does it have an aftermarket exhaust?
If not then it shouldnt do that.
If you are at the ace Ill let you know what the codes are so you can check which side and sensor is bust. You might need a replacement.
Or call by one of the shops who will check/sort it for you.

Normally it just complains about lazy performance in switching. Or because your cats arnt working properly (or there at all)

Typical problem then smile
Sensors usually dont get hot enough to work efficiently, so complain via a code.
