Steering column bush

The bearing feels fine but the steel bush around the column is slack. Is this a normal wear thing on an S3?

The bush around the column on my S3c is plastic! It is a common wear and tear part on the S, when I changed mine it actually made my steering lighter! You can get the whole kit from TVR Car parts for about £20 or so inc postage, good luck

Excellent info as usual, think it's the bush that's worn but have to strip the column anyhow so might as well replace the whole thing.
