Not long after the last service I felt the car had "lost tune" and though in normal driving everything was OK, the engine felt just a little "rough".

The main problem was if you gave it full throttle in 4th or 5th as the revs rose and the green shift light came on it was like the rev-limiter came on early. It was Ok if you revved it gently.

I had the plugs changed and Magnecors ignition leads fitted by RPI and the car is now as sweet as can be and better than ever. It really has made a huge difference to the power and the smoothness of the engine especillay at full power, so if your Tuscan is 8 years old it may be a good idea to change the ignition leads!

Another thing it has fixed is that the speedo needle used to be quite erratic, but now it is a smooth as you would expect. I guess it was picking up back EMF or something?
