Wondering if anyone could give me an idea of how many Tasmin fixed head coupes (280i) were put out by the factory in each year of production.

Someone needs to sort out those Ford Cologne and Essex V6 engine capacities... a bit jumbled up. wink

Must be less than a couple of hundred 400SEs left then.scratchchin

There are a couple of questions I have about the figures posted in the chart that Jeff sent the link to:
(1) There was one 390 SE FHC produced
(2) There is the White Elephant that Howard Bryan is restoring that was originally built for Peter
Wheeler with the Holden V8
(3) The number given for the Tasmin/280i drophead is shown as 812 but the number I have always
seen in the past is 862.
what this tells us is there will always be varying figures for TVR production so we have to take any such figures with a "grain of salt".

That 390SE FHC would be just great for rainy days. smile

At last we've got some clean dry roads !

...Been hurtling around the countryside today, just to keep the old girl's bits lubricated.

All systems go, after sitting in the freezing garage for a couple of weeks.
Still purring like a pussycat or snarling like a tiger. cloud9

There's 1 400 FHC now also. not quite sure if it counts though.

TVRleigh_BBWR,
the 400FHC you mention.....was it converted from a 350i or 280i FHC, or a late custom build out of leftover components?

It was converted from a S1.5 2.8 FHC, well it started life as a 2.8 was then converted to a 2.0 Turbo.
Then converted to a 4.0 Thor block Rv8 (Serp without dissy). with emerald ECU,

Very impressive! Looks like quite the beast. Is she track worthy yet?
