Spent a long time polishing today - looks good but front needs a respray, so gonna do the whole car.

Why is it sitting so high, you could get to the battery without having to take the wheel off.

Battery missing - have one in the boot for the moment just to get it going.

Looks like the rear is on axle stands or trolley jack? the rear wheel is not quite touching the ground

Hensen, whats the burn mark on the front hood? Did the car have an engine fire? Any Idea of the history of the car?

Yes the car is on the ground, but rear castor not done till a couple of hours later.

No engine fire - underneath of bonnet perfect. Think too much paint was applied before lower coats properly dry
