Thought FM was still better than DAB...?
Also thought something had bettered DAB, but DAB are fighting like hell to keep us all duped...?
But I might be wrong...
I've no doubts that FM is better on compression terms but unless you like endless commercial riddled pap (round here in any event), there is limited choice of programming. The Denon (and any real opposition I'm sure) is a capbale FM performer tooAlso thought something had bettered DAB, but DAB are fighting like hell to keep us all duped...?

Is there something else waiting in the wings? 'fraid I'm a luddite and only just adjusting to transistors <shudder>

As I understand it, the best bit-rates for digital radio in the UK are from Sky, with terrestrial DAB failing sadly far behind for most stations. If you want digital, your best best might be a Sky box with a digital output and a DAC.
Strangely enough, I have a dish and Sky box that are wired but effectively unused. Maybe I'll investigate moving it to my office (where I want the tranny)Simpo Two said:

Still the Denon TU 1800 for VFM or has something overtaken it while I've been making my mind up I'm fed up with toggling between R4 and R1 on the Frequency Modulation?
You don't want to press a button to change radio stations? How does DAB solve that? Gassing Station | The Pie & Piston Archive | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
