Any ideas on repair costs

On the way home tonight we were rear ended my a lax power twat who then drove off without stopping.
Bumper is cracked and the rear wing is too in several places - so it's gonna need the bumper fixed or replaced and a new half rear wing plus respray at the very least.
Any ideas how much this will cost?
Absolutely gutted

The damage doesn't look too bad, but it depends on whether GRP can be repaired, or whether it has to be replaced.

Sorry to hear about that Pete. How did he manage to get away from you? Fibreglass can always be repaired but it's a question of economics. Once the bumper is off I'd guess at 4 to 5 hours at £45/hr?+ £20 for materials. How much does a new bumper cost? Have you checked the rear wing above the top of the wheel arch? They usually crack there as well in that type of shunt.
Had a look and it seems to be ok, but it will need a more thorough inspection over the weekend to be certain. Basically, I took photos of all areas that showed any damage to the GRP or cracked paintwork. I know it can sometimes take a while for damage to the paint/gel layer to show through.
The guestimates that have been bandied about here and on the other threads have varied wildly - anything between £0.5k and £6k However, we took the car up to Joolz yesterday afternoon and he's got some mates in the biz who can hopefully do the repairs at a sensible cost. If we can get it in under about £750 then it won't be worth involving the insurance co. as that's about how much we'll be out of pocket with the policy excess and hike in premium at renewal.
So, fingers crossed...
Thanks to everyone for your support - much appreciated
And a big thank you again to Joolz for being an all round top bloke and supplying us with jaffa cakes to calm us down
