Great Drive Home
Discussion
Had a great drive home from High Wycombe this evening. Since it was sunny (if a bit fresh) I had the roof panels off. Almost got to Twyford when Concorde appeared in the distance; I immediately pulled in to the side and enjoyed the unobstructed view as she went over.
(especially poignant as that's probably going to be my last sighting
).
I then proceeded to proceed, thinking that my journey had peaked when, just outside Winnersh, I pass another S heading the opposite direction (and get a wave to boot).
What a great way to end the week (on holiday tomorrow!

Contrastingly, I had the cover off my car as I was letting the roof air out when I noticed a slight drizzle, after waiting a few minuites staring at the sky I sprinted out of the office in the middle of a full on down pour to put the cover on. Whilst extracting the already wet cover from the boot and attempting to position it, it then proceeded to start hailing. So not only did I fail to get the rear flap under the boot for a few minuites I also succeeded in getting ice down my back, and soaking wet. I then got the itchy hands feeling when I got back into the office and attempted to warm up my hands, thus preventing from using a keyboard or mouse for a few minuites.
