I watched this the other day The opening scenes are good with the Aston & Boat chase ....the pace then drops off when bond gets to the Desert and from then on its rubbish .However much better than Tommorow never dies Craig is a better Bond than Dalton's and Brosnan's performance in Die Another Day was too much like Moore's

Perhaps steeled by the indifferent reviews I went to see Quantum of Solace not expecting much, and was thoroughly entertained. I thought it was a superb film, and sets up the series for a return to normal service pretty well.
Die Another Day was risible, and the terrible CGI surfing and aeroplane bits should have been canned. The plane fight was tacked on and unnecessary. But it can't be the worst, surely. The hovercraft chase, the Aston/Jaguar ice chase (apart from the invisible car nonsense), the abandoned Q branch tube station, and Halle Berry emerging from the sea, the torture scene over the credits, and the Hong Kong scenes afterwards. There's some good stuff in it.
The other reason it can't be the worst is that The Man With the Golden Gun will always exist. An entire film played with high camp like a 70s ITV sitcom, a blatant MacGuffin, and the worst villan/sidekick ever. Plus Lulu's theme tune.

I've not seen any of the Daniel Craig movies but of the earlier generation films there is no doubt that "Moonraker" as stands out as pretty woeful. Unfortunately, the producers got caught up in "Star Wars" mania and tried to cash in on the popularity of that film.
No matter how silly or outrageous a Bond plot can be, it must always remain plausable. "Moonraker" failed in that respect - and it thought it was funny as well, with loads of "in-jokes" and allusions to current politics and advertising of the day.

For my money ,the Connery ones (Except NSNA) all worth watching ,as they didnt get too carried away with the gaqdgets ,the Moore ones all a pile of poo (too improbable!) ,the Dalton ones not too bad but TD not very believeable as Bond ,thought the Brosnan ones were generally a return to the form of Connery but with a more modern slant to them ,and Craig was ,IMHO excellent in Casino .Not seen his second yet .Oddly ,Lazenby was pilloried for his portrayal ,but it is by far the closest adaptation of a book of the series .I wont even mention the Niven/Sellers spoof one!
I generally think Moonraker was the worst one ,as it was far too improbable and bore very little relation to the book .
As an aside ,the books still make a fantastic read today ,even though half of them are now over 50 years old!

Can we even count Never Say Never Again as it wasn't an "official" Bond film (and neither was the rubbish Sellers Casino Royale)? 
Personally, I think that Connery was not only a better Bond than any of the others, but generally his films tended to stick more closely to the books and therefore have stood the test of time better than some of Moores. I also think Daniel Craig has done an excellent job of taking the Bond character back to being much more closely aligned with how Fleming saw Bond. Again, Casino Royale stayed very close to the book and translated well onto screen.
For me, the worst Bond movies were mainly some of Roger Moores -

I didn't think much of Dalton's second, Licence to Kill, either. Tomorrow Never Dies was poor as well.
Personally, I think that Connery was not only a better Bond than any of the others, but generally his films tended to stick more closely to the books and therefore have stood the test of time better than some of Moores. I also think Daniel Craig has done an excellent job of taking the Bond character back to being much more closely aligned with how Fleming saw Bond. Again, Casino Royale stayed very close to the book and translated well onto screen.

The earlier ones have to be excused on the special effects side as they haven't aged well at all (boat chase in Thunderball, and space battle in Moonraker for example.)
TBH all of the Brosnan ones suck for me. Tomorrow Never Dies was an absolute crock of a storyline, and Die Another Day has already been mentioned. In each case though as a "take your brain out and watch the film for an hour and a half" exercise they are quite fun.
I like the dark nature of the new films, rather than the camp hooning around killing people left right and centre then getting the girl of the previous ones. That said, on a rainy Sunday afternoon with nothing to do, I'd happily make a vat of tea, open a packet of hobnobs, and watch any of them!
