Now the rate is at an all time low, are the banks still selling fixed rate mortgages. Now would be an excellent time to start one if they do.#

Sadly no. I've looked as has our FA. You'd think so but the banks now use the LIBOR rate for their lending which, surprise, isn't as low as the B of E rate.
Of course when the B of E rate rises they will use it again.
If you find out different let me know!

Last time I checked, The Abbey are doing 2, 3 and 5 yr fixed at 4.3%, 4.8% and 5.2% respectively.
