I went for an F430 and now an Exige S.
I love the car and hoe it handles.
If you are worried about power then I suggest you look at an early S2 Elise with a supercharged Honda Type R Engine in it, Sub 900KG 350 - 420 BHP.;)

The Elise conversion above was quicker than my M400.
355 - 360 will dissapoint.

had it 1 1/2 years I normally change every year or so but this one could be hard to replace which I may not have relized.

I think if I get rid of my Noble it will be for a Gallardo, done the full range of Lotus cars most are all grip no grunt(except v8 esprit, which I loved). However the Honda'd cars would be intersting for a laugh. Bit confined in the cabin I think tho and never have that certain special feel that a fezza or Lambo would give you. Saggaris = sp6 engine yikes

Hey peter,
the car arrived save in germany on friday 10pm after 600 miles. I got an average 23 mpg on the trip, satisfying. And its really more comfortable than my elise.

And the way it sounds an goes, phenomenal, ill never sell it. Nevertheless i found two little things on it.
for one, there is a sound when the inside fan is on, did you have that? started one mile after we left.
and secondly when there is no gear selected and I release the clutch there is a sound at the speed of the engine spinning. Anyone had this before?
Apart from that everythings perfect. My father will inspect everything the following weekend, it rained today so I didnt want to take it out.

A 360 is a nice car but can bit snappy on the limit.(if you can tell you've reached it it's too latesmile)
I like the sag but engine re-builds are expensive and you really have to factor in a possible re-build in the price if you are going to use it to its full potential.
What about an Ultima if you like a raw ride 450 - 500 Bhp in one of those would be a nice combination and within your budget.
If I don't Honda an Elise I suspect an Ultima will be next on my shopping list
(unless of course the new Noble appears)rolleyes

My clutch rattles too and has done since I got the diff done. Seems still to work fine after 12 months.

You could get a mk1 Porsche GT3 for maybe 35k. Pretty much as quick as the Noble, better built and won't lose any money.

I'd love one of these or a derivative but in our climate they're a little bit too impractical, last summer It would have been used for about ten outings.frown
